TERMS OF PARTICIPATION – THE LIVING SACRIFICE
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering with The Living Sacrifice (“the Organization”), you (the participant) and your parent/guardian (if under 18) agree to abide by these Terms of Participation. Participation in our programs, events, and activities is conditional upon acceptance of these terms.
2. Eligibility
Our programs are open to teenage girls and young women, generally between the ages of 12 and 22.
Participants under the age of 18 must have parental or legal guardian consent.
3. Code of Conduct
To create a safe and respectful environment, participants agree to:
Show respect to all leaders, mentors, volunteers, and fellow participants.
Avoid any form of bullying, harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.
Participate actively and with a positive attitude.
Refrain from the use of alcohol, drugs, or harmful substances during programs or events.
Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or removal from the program.
4. Health & Safety
Parents/guardians must disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs during registration.
The Organization will take reasonable care to ensure safety but is not responsible for injuries or accidents that occur due to undisclosed conditions or participant misconduct.
In case of emergency, the Organization is authorized to seek medical assistance on behalf of the participant.
5. Privacy & Data Use
The Organization collects personal information (name, contact details, age, school, etc.) for the purpose of program registration, communication, and safety.
Information will not be sold or shared with third parties, except as required by law or for emergency purposes.
Participants/guardians consent to data being securely stored and used for organizational purposes.
6. Media Consent
During programs and events, photographs and videos may be taken.
By registering, participants/guardians consent to the use of these images for promotional purposes (e.g., website, flyers, newsletters, social media).
If you do not consent, please indicate this clearly during registration.
7. Program Participation
The Organization reserves the right to adjust program activities, schedules, or locations as needed.
Some activities may involve physical exercise, outdoor trips, or creative performances. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these activities.
Participants are expected to dress modestly and appropriately for all programs.
8. Limitation of Liability
While every effort will be made to ensure a safe and enriching environment, the Organization and its leaders shall not be held liable for:
Loss of personal property.
Injuries or accidents resulting from non-compliance with rules or undisclosed medical conditions.
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to participation.
9. Termination of Participation
The Organization reserves the right to deny or withdraw participation at any time if a participant engages in conduct deemed unsafe, unlawful, or contrary to the values of The Living Sacrifice.
10. Acknowledgment
By checking the box at registration and/or signing the consent form, the participant and parent/guardian confirm that they:
Have read and understood these Terms of Participation.
Agree to comply with all rules and guidelines.
Release The Living Sacrifice from liability except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
